On Monday, 5 December 2022, at night at 4:21, in Kelmės district municipality, Legotės village, on the Ryga–Šiauliai–Tauragė–Kaliningradas main road (kilometre 114.60), a Scania ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Scania (14 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
