On Friday, 30 December 2022, at night at around 23:00, in Druskininkų municipality, Viečiūnų town, on Verpėjų street, a Seat Leon ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Seat (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.89‰ blood alcohol).
