On Monday, 9 January 2023, in the evening at 17:50, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street near No. 27, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW, a Volvo S60 and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the BMW (9 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
