On Monday, 9 January 2023, in the evening at 22:26, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 76.90), a Volkswagen Crafter ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (11 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
