On Wednesday, 11 January 2023, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Perkūnų village, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a vehicle, a Schmitz registered in Denmark and a DAF FT XF105. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He fled the scene.
