On Saturday, 4 February 2023, in the evening at 20:30, in Šiauliai, on Tilžės street near No. 3, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 318CI registered in Finland and a Lexus RX400h. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.61‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
