On Tuesday, 7 February 2023, in the afternoon at 16:45, in Kaunas, on A. Šapokos street near No. 52, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 1er Reihe and a Toyota Yaris. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.51‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
