On Friday, 17 February 2023, in the morning at 5:57, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Samališkės village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 283), a Toyota RAV4 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Toyota (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
