On Sunday, 19 February 2023, at night at around 23:00, in Klaipėda, on Eglių street, at the junction with Kadagių street, an Opel Tigra hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
