On Saturday, 4 March 2023, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Rietavo municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 253.50), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mini and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Mini (14 years of driving experience), who failed to comply with road signs or markings. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
