On Friday, 10 March 2023, in the morning at around 10:00, in Kaunas, on Marių street near No. 39, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Passat, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
