On Thursday, 16 March 2023, in the evening at around 19:00, in Tauragės district municipality, Padrūtupių village, on the Lauksargiai–Drūtaviškiai regional road (kilometre 1.74), a Cfmoto CF500A ran off the road. One person was injured — a 22-year-old passenger of the Cfmoto (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Cfmoto (24 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
