On Saturday, 25 March 2023, in the evening at 17:50, in Panevėžio district municipality, Marijonavos farmstead, on Tilto street near No. 6A, a Volkswagen Bora ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 30 km/h.
