On Friday, 28 April 2023, at night at around 3:00, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 38), a KIA Motors Optima registered in Estonia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the KIA Motors (7 years of driving experience), who fell asleep at the wheel. The driver was sober.
