On Saturday, 6 May 2023, in the afternoon at 13:20, in Jurbarko district municipality, Veliuonos town, on the regional road, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 5ER Reihe and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW, who violated overtaking rules. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
