On Thursday, 11 May 2023, in the evening at 18:28, in Kaunas, on Užnemunės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Suzuki GSX-R 750 and a Peugeot 308. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Suzuki (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
