On Friday, 19 May 2023, in the evening at around 19:00, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr. near No. 66A, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Insignia and a Fiat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
