On Friday, 19 May 2023, in the evening at 21:23, in Molėtų district municipality, on Kanapelkos street near No. 26, a Ford Focus ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.24‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
