On Sunday, 28 May 2023, in the evening at around 19:00, in Tauragės district municipality, on J. Basanavičiaus street, a e-scooter ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of a e-scooter, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.97‰ blood alcohol).
