On Saturday, 10 June 2023, in the evening at 18:30, in Kalvarijos municipality, Kovų village, on Saulės street near No. 12, a Suzuki GSX 1200 registered in Poland rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Suzuki (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
