On Saturday, 17 June 2023, in the evening at 21:55, in Tauragės district municipality, Joniškės village, on Žibuoklių street near No. 35, a Citroen C5 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (3.47‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
