On Saturday, 17 June 2023, in the evening at around 19:00, in Biržų district municipality, on Birutės street near No. 3, a e-scooter hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 16-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 13-year-old driver of a e-scooter, who failed to keep a safe distance.
