On Sunday, 18 June 2023, at night at around 23:00, in Zarasų district municipality, Suvieko village, on Parko street near No. 7, a Honda HR-V ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 70-year-old driver of the Honda (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.48‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
