On Thursday, 22 June 2023, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 0.10), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Seat Ibiza, a Skoda Yeti and a Seat Leon. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Seat Ibiza (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober.
