On Friday, 14 July 2023, in the evening at around 22:00, in Rokiškio district municipality, Buivėnų village, on Buivėnų street near No. 2, a Skoda Fabia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Skoda, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.97‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, there was fog, the road surface was dry.
