On Saturday, 15 July 2023, in the afternoon at 11:23, in Vilniaus district municipality, Rudaminos village, on Brolių street near No. 5, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Toyota Prius. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (3.78‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
