On Saturday, 22 July 2023, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kaunas, on Kalniečių street near No. 141, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Opel (27 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (0.87‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
