On Friday, 11 August 2023, in the morning at 6:09, in Utenos district municipality, Degsnio village, on the Sudeikiai–Rukliai–Antandraja regional road (kilometre 6), a Volkswagen Golf hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (1.62‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
