On Tuesday, 22 August 2023, in the morning at 5:10, in Šilalės district municipality, Radiškės village, on the Varniai–Sėverėnai–Kaltinėnai regional road (kilometre 20.51), a BMW Serie 5 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.14‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was twilight, there was fog, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
