On Wednesday, 30 August 2023, at night at 23:50, in Mažeikių district municipality, on S. Daukanto street near No. 5, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-3 and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Saab, who failed to keep a safe distance.
