On Sunday, 17 September 2023, in the morning at 6:37, in Trakų district municipality, on the Onuškis–Butrimonys–Punia regional road (kilometre 12.50), an Arctic CAT Cougar rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Arctic CAT, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.06‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 52-year-old passenger of the Arctic CAT was drunk (2.65‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
