On Sunday, 17 September 2023, in the evening at around 17:00, in Mažeikių district municipality, Račalių village, on Ąžuolų street, at the junction with Alyvų street, a BA rolled over. One person was injured — the 40-year-old driver of the BA (hospitalized, was not wearing a helmet). The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the BA (7 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.10‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
