On Sunday, 17 September 2023, in the afternoon at 16:34, in Kretingos district municipality, on the Vėžaičiai–Mikoliškiai–Kartena regional road (kilometre 22.20), a vehicle rolled over. One person was injured — the 60-year-old driver of a Toyota Yaris (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who violated overtaking rules. He fled the scene.
