On Saturday, 7 October 2023, in the evening at 19:04, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Šeduvos g st–Vadaktai–Krekenava regional road (kilometre 3.75), a Volkswagen Polo registered in Latvia rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, a strong wind was blowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
