On Sunday, 8 October 2023, in the evening at around 21:00, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 45.40), a car rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of a car (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
