On Monday, 9 October 2023, in the afternoon at 15:58, in Kelmės district municipality, on the Ryga–Šiauliai–Tauragė–Kaliningradas (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 81.80), a MAN registered in Ukraine hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the MAN (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
