On Tuesday, 17 October 2023, in the morning at 8:25, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Didieji Baušiai–Akmenynė–Turgeliai regional road (kilometre 16.58), a Volkswagen Golf hit a pedestrian away from any crossing.
