On Thursday, 19 October 2023, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on A. Mickevičiaus street near No. 11, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota RAV4 and a Volvo XC90. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 70-year-old driver of the Toyota (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
