On Wednesday, 25 October 2023, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Širvintų district municipality, on Jaunimo street near No. 18, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
