On Tuesday, 31 October 2023, in the evening at around 17:00, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr. near No. 28, a e-scooter hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 12-year-old driver of a e-scooter, who failed to keep a safe distance. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
