On Thursday, 9 November 2023, in the evening at 17:05, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 144), a Scania S 50 registered in Latvia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Scania (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. The driver was sober.
