On Sunday, 26 November 2023, in the evening at 21:20, in Klaipėda, on Vilniaus pl., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Dodge Stratus, a Schmitz registered in Denmark and a Scania. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Dodge (26 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He refused a sobriety test and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
