On Sunday, 24 December 2023, in the evening at around 21:00, in Vilnius, on Kirtimų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Prius and a Skoda Octavia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
