On Saturday, 27 January 2024, in the afternoon at 11:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 95.50), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 330D and an Audi A4 WW. Audi S4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
