On Thursday, 8 February 2024, in the evening at around 22:00, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr. near No. 52C, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a BMW 120. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, there was freezing rain, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
