On Friday, 9 February 2024, in the afternoon at 15:40, in Kaunas, on Šarkuvos street near No. 1A, a Temsa MD 9LE hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 43-year-old pedestrian, who committed sudden emergence from behind a vehicle, tree, etc.. He was drunk (2.14‰ blood alcohol). The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
