On Tuesday, 26 March 2024, in the afternoon at 15:07, in Kaunas, on Jonavos street near No. 3, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Fiesta registered in Estonia and a Volkswagen Caddy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Ford (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
