On Sunday, 31 March 2024, in the evening at 17:40, in Klaipėda, on Vingio street near No. 21A, a car hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of a car (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
