On Saturday, 30 March 2024, in the afternoon at 13:30, in Vilnius, on Eduardo Andrė street, at the junction with Vinkšnų street, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz GL450 and a Husqvarna. One person died — the 26-year-old driver of the Husqvarna (later died from the injuries, had no driving licence). The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (16 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
