On Sunday, 23 June 2024, in the evening at 18:16, in Alytaus district municipality, on the Geniai–Panemuninkai regional road (kilometre 3), an Isuzu ran off the road. Two people were injured — the 48-year-old driver of the Isuzu (treated as an outpatient) and a 52-year-old passenger of the Isuzu (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Isuzu (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
